What is actually different inside?
Three things. A second motor, so the pulsation is driven by two units sharing the load rather than one at full stretch. A higher-output pump with a wider range of control. And a gasketed, sealed housing with an isolated motor bay, which is what makes the lifetime warranty possible.
Can I upgrade later instead?

What does the lifetime warranty actually cover?
